After experiencing the loss of my mom as a teen, and my dad in adulthood, my passion to be there for other grievers grew. This played out in various ways such as guest writing on blogs about grief, starting a virtual support group, writing a memoir and ultimately leading me to get my masters in clinical psychology! Because of these losses I have experienced my own mental health challenges such as depression and PTSD. If we work together you will be in safe company.
“You look so young!” I get that a lot, thank you, but I've been married for 11 years. Therefore I strongly support pre-marital and marital counseling for lasting relationships. Naturally when two people come together there are going to be challenges. It’s ok to need outside help and support!
Life can be so hard and no one goes through it without being touched by suffering of some kind and I am passionate about creating space for them.

I love backpacking! I prefer sleeping in a hammock over a tent because it's more comfortable. We take our two mini Australian Shepherds who have their own backpacks. If the hike includes a lake, I'm definitely interested!

I appreciate experiences and am grateful for the chance to travel worldwide. Being in different cultures teaches us a lot and helps us grow. Travel offers many chances to learn.
